The Project

Jukwaa is an artistic collaboration and networking project for cultural and creative industries between Europe and East Africa, led by Kaaze Events, in partnership with Halle Tropisme, the Biennale Euro-Africa de Montpellier, and local partners in Rwanda.

The goal of Jukwaa is to create an ecosystem, an artistic network. We aim to develop collaborations, pool our expertise, share our knowledge, and imagine new ways of working together across disciplines, while helping to promote the Rwandan artistic scene within European networks.

The network will be developed through concrete collaborative actions and artistic creations, as well

With a partnership between Kigali and Montpellier as a starting point, Jukwaa aims to enlarge the network to France/Rwanda and Europe/East Africa.

The first Jukwaa project is part of Programme Industries Culturelles et Creative, from Institut Français.
